“The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.”
– Dorothea Lange
For some people, the Surf Coast and the Bellarine Peninsula are a place they come for a holiday, or a getaway from the chaos of the city. For others, it's deeper than that, perhaps it’s where they used to come with Mum and Dad over the summer when they were growing up. For those people, it’s where their best memories live. For me, these photos are a glimpse of those memories – a little faded, a little dreamy, and a little bit ethereal. It was no accident that when that Kodak ruled the world of film, they didn’t advertise film, they advertised memories. Hopefully, some of these photos can take you somewhere you want to go again, or maybe somewhere you’d like to go.
Thanks for stopping by.
